What is compost?
Compost results from the biological action of micro-organisms on organic
materials: plants, wood, insects and animal by-products. People are often
reluctant to include meat and fish because they can attract flies and may
contain pathogens, but the Rocket® is a totally enclosed system so
access to pests is prevented and the high heat process destroys pathogens.
Compost from the Rocket® is a crumbly, soil-like substance containing all the elements and trace elements necessary for plant growth. Its structure is ideal for plant root generation and it has excellent moisture and oxygen retaining properties. Compost contains beneficial micro-organisms that actively support plant health, minimizing the need for insecticides and fungicides.
Recycle
your organic waste with the Rocket® composter.
With our range of Rocket® Composters you can recycle all quantities of food waste (or green or animal wastes) quickly and quietly without any mess or smell. The Rocket® uses nature's own processes and some of its own clever technology to turn your waste into nutrient-rich compost in just two weeks.
All of our Rockets® are simple to use and easy to maintain. Thermostatic controls ensure minimum operator interaction with only a standard single-phase 240-volt power supply needed.
A500 Rocket® composter is the smallest in the range. It processes up to 900 litres of organic waste each week.
A700 Rocket® composter processes up to 1400 litres of organic waste each week.
A900 Rocket® composter processes up to 5250 litres of organic waste each week.
A1200 Rocket® composter processes up to 7000 litres of organic waste each week.
MASSerator / Dewaterer
Food waste MASSerating and Dewatering equipment controls moisture content and particle size. This results in reduced mass and volume (by up to 60%) of pre-processed organic material. MASSerating and Dewatering in conjunction with the Rocket triples the capacity of each unit, and provides additional control to the composting process.
