Yesterday I said good bye to an old friend.
We removed the oldest Rocket in Canada from Seneca College as they purchased 2 new units in 2018.
The old unit is not going to the Smithsonian even though I thought it was the “BEST” Rocket ever. This well-traveled unit still ran but had come to the end of it’s long life.
This was the first unit that MASS purchased. It tolerated my lack of understanding of how it really worked, but over the years taught me that quite frankly the equipment works great, so long as the proper composting process is followed. It was not round, shiny, and didn’t have the latest programmable capability but made good compost.
I will miss you, old friend. But, I appreciate all you taught me. I look forward to the next generation of Rockets believing that your model led the way.
